A built-in running two cooling circuits can lose the fresh-food side while the freezer holds perfectly, and that single pattern rules out most of the expensive answers before a panel comes off. What is left is nearly always one circuit: airflow, defrost, a sensor reporting a temperature the cabinet is not at, or a condenser that stopped rejecting heat some months ago.
